Beyond spays and neuters, we do soft-tissue surgery here: removing lumps and skin masses, repairing bite wounds and cuts, and removing objects pets swallow. Orthopedic and specialist cases are referred to a board-certified surgeon.

What you might notice

A lump that has grown or changed, a cut or bite wound, a pet that ate a sock or a toy and keeps vomiting.

How we treat it

An exam and, when needed, X-rays or a needle sample, so we know what we are removing before we remove it.

A written estimate with a low and high range, approved by you before surgery.

Monitored anesthesia, pain control and a call as soon as your pet is awake, with a recheck in two weeks.

Common questions

Should every lump come off?

No. Many lumps are harmless fatty tumors. A needle sample tells us which ones can be watched and which ones should come out.

Will my pet stay overnight?

Most go home the same day. Pets that need overnight care are transferred to a 24-hour hospital with their records.

Do you do orthopedic surgery?

No. Torn ligaments and fractures go to a board-certified surgeon, and we send the X-rays and records the same day.

What does it cost?

Lump removals start at $450. Every surgery gets a written estimate first, and we call before going over it.

This page is general information, not a diagnosis. Every pet is different. Trouble breathing, a seizure, a hard swollen belly or heavy bleeding needs an emergency hospital now.
