No veterinary advice
Content on this website, including service pages, prices and Journal articles, is general information. It is not a diagnosis, does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship and is not a substitute for an examination by a licensed veterinarian.
Appointment requests
Submitting a form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We confirm every appointment by phone or email. Please do not use forms for urgent needs; if your pet has trouble breathing, a seizure or heavy bleeding, call us or go to the nearest emergency hospital.
Cancellations
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments may be charged a $25 fee, which we waive when your pet is sick or for emergencies. Surgery and dental deposits are refunded when you cancel 48 hours ahead.
Prices and payment
Prices listed on this website are in U.S. dollars and may change. The price that applies is the one in effect on the date of your visit. Coverage depends on your pet insurance policy; we will send the records your insurer asks for but cannot guarantee what it will pay.

Text, graphics and design on this website belong to Sweetgum Animal Hospital or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Sweetgum Animal Hospital is not liable for damages arising from the use of this website or reliance on its content.
